Day One

Depart Home

Depart home today for your international flight to Edinburgh. If you are traveling from North America, this will likely be an overnight flight.

Day Two

Welcome to Scotland

Upon arrival to Edinburgh Airport, you will be greeted with a private transfer to your city center hotel. Check in for your two night stay before meeting the group for a welcome dinner.

Day Three

Edinburgh Castle

Enjoy a morning walking tour exploring both Old & New Town before visiting the Edinburgh Castle with your private guide. In the afternoon, take advantage of solo time or join a newly made friend and explore the Scottish National Gallery or one of the many other galleries and museums of the city. Or maybe you want to use this time for some well deserved shopping.

Day Four

The University Town

This morning we will depart Edinburgh with our private guide and drive to St. Andrews. Upon arrival, we'll explore you the famous historical university town, followed by lunch. We will pass through Dundee before arriving to the 13th century Glamis Castle, known to be the inspiration of Shakespeare's Macbeth and the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. This evening we'll check in to a premium country house hotel.

Day Five

Scottish Brands & Loch Spa

This morning we'll visit the House of Bruar for a premium luxury shopping experience in the Scottish Highlands. As the ‘Home of Country Clothing,' they work with the best brands that support the ethos of contemporary style and superior quality. Shop artisan boot-makers to globally-renowned designers. Later this morning, discover nearby waterfalls during a short, self-guided. We'll drive through the Perthshire highland countryside to Loch Tay where we'll indulge in a cold dip surrounded by natural views.

Day Six

Distillery & Loch Ness

Today we'll head further north through the highlands. No visit to Scotland is complete without a tasting at Dalwhinnie Distillery. After we are whiskey warm, we'll board a private, high-speed boat to explore the famous Loch Ness. A high speed pleasure ride like no other, we'll zip and glide across the loch to the magnificent Urquhart Castle. End the day in Fort William, home of the highest mountain in Great Britain. This evening we'll call Oban Bay Hotel & Spa home. As a base for exploring Scotland’s west coast, the location is ideal with beautiful sea views of drifting ferries during afternoon tea. Within the Oban hotel’s spa, the Thermal Experience with outdoor hot tub and sauna provide natural sources of relaxation.

Day Seven

Exploring the Isles

Going from land to see, we'll spend today exploring the beautiful islands of the West Coast of Scotland. Discover the wonders of three Scottish islands, taking you through the stunning scenery of the Isle of Mull followed by a visit to the Isle of Iona and then onto the inspiring visit to the unique Isle of Staffa to see Fingal’s Cave with the opportunity to see its nesting puffins.

Day Eight

Foraging Workshop

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Oban to explore the harbor and spa. Today, we'll travel south through the mountains and valleys to Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Led by a qualified countryside ranger and member of the Association of Foragers, we'll enjoy a private foraging and wild dip experience in the park. Our guide will reawaken the use of natural ingredients during an infused oil workshop. This afternoon, we'll check in to our home for the two nights, nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of Loch Lomond.

Day Nine

A Day for You

This morning, take today at a slower pace with a chance to enjoy the facilities on site. This evening, we'll come together for a farewell dinner and toast the beautiful memories made in Scotland.

Day Ten

Depart Scotland

Sadly, all great things must come to an end. Today, you will be privately transferred from the hotel to either Edinburgh Airport (EDI) or Glasgow Airport (GLA). We hope to see you on another retreat soon!

Itinerary Disclosure Fine Print

Accommodation and activities may be modified based on availability or unforeseen circumstances. Note that our trips focuses on restorative, local experiences. This retreat covers both mainland and island touring and naturally involves some travel time. The group will be accompanied by a local guide for days 2, 3, 4 with step on guides joining us for the remainder of the days as needed. All private touring and entrances are included as outlined in the itinerary. On Day 9, the seaplane option is an additional cost and will need to be confirmed prior to your arrival in Scotland. The itinerary is subject to change due to inclement weather or other factors outside of our control. Keep in mind that every activity is optional and you can opt-out of activities you aren’t comfortable with. All guests are required to purchase travel insurance before joining the trip to cover medical requirements and trip disruptions.
